DEGAS (DESIGN GALLERY SWITZERLAND) is a new label with a mission to discover and promote original Swiss design from established and less known Swiss designers to an international community, focusing our collection on modern furniture, home accessories, fashion and art. Almost impossible to find any of their products outside Switzerland, we wanted to make them accessible to the wider international design community, building a fresh image for swiss design. It is no accident that we chose the DEGAS name. Not only does it stand for the first letters in DESIGN GALLERY SWITZERLAND, but also it creates a clear connection to the artist Edgar Degas in particular, and the field of Art in general, for we see each product in our gallery as a unique piece of art with its special reason to be.

The DEGAS brand was founded in January 2012 and belongs to MOSSA IDD GMBH, which is based in Basel, Switzerland.
