Showing Mexican design and craftsmanship in its unbroken vitality- Benjamin Caja launched the Acapulco Design label under this motto in Munich in 2014. The Acapulco Chair, which dates back to the 1950s and symbolises Mexico's vibrant way of life, becomes the brand's first collection piece and source of inspiration. Ever since then, the German-Croatian entrepreneur Caja has continued to develop the collection. A group of contemporary furniture pieces has been created in cooperation with German designers that takes the design of the iconic lounge chair and reinterprets it.

Acapulco Design places great value on high-quality production of its products. The Acapulco Chairs are produced by hand using traditional techniques in a factory in Mexico City. Here, the company ensures that not only the chairs are produced under fair conditions. Acapulco Design is involved in all stages of production on site. The company has personal contact with all factory staff and with all our suppliers. In this way, Acapulco Design guarantees that people with few prospects in life are given a secure job and fair wages. Here, safety at the workplace also plays an important role. Naturally, Acapulco Design also takes the quality and comfort of our Acapulco Chairs very seriously. Only the highest quality materials are used during production.
