Deltalight – one of the leading manufacturers of architectural lighting for both interior and exterior use – showed once again at this year's Interieur 2010 in Kortrijk. Architonic was media partner for Deltalight's Architects' Party, both an exuberant and highly interesting occasion, held in the wonderfully designed ambience of the d-hotel.

The Deltalight company exhibited just a selection of its extensive lighting range in Kortrijk, mostly its new LED-technology products, which were a real hit with fair attendees. LED is the new standard in architecture and lighting planning, and Deltalight's stand was, consequently, extremely well visited.

On Sunday 17 October, Deltalight, along with media partner Architonic, threw a party for architects in the d-hotel. Part of the hotel is located in an old windmill, which stands in stark contrast to the exposed-concrete build adjoining it. The event was a total success, as, apart from the extremely interesting architectural context, Deltalight arranged some exciting speakers: founder of REX, Joshua Prince-Ramus, spoke about new city library for Kortrijk that is currently being planned, and a project manager from Zaha Hadid's studio reported on the latest office projects, like the futuristic design for the new Antwerp Harbour Authority building.

Architonic caught some impressions of Deltalight's stand on film for you.
