Sebastian Herkner introduces his recent Colombian-inspired, hand-woven outdoor furniture collection for Ames at his DAAily bar Live Talk during Milan Design Week.
With its colourful construction of woven recycled plastic thread, Sebastian Herkner’s outdoor Caribe collection for Ames stood out at the DAAily bar during Milan Design Week. ‘If we have something of good quality, we pass it on to the next generation,’ explained Herkner to a packed house inside, describing the traditional Colombian hand-weaving techniques used to make the furniture, as well as the pieces themselves.
