ZANOTTA CELEBRATES THE GREAT MASTERS OF DESIGN WITH THE REISSUES OF MARCUSO AND CUCULIA

In a dialogue between past and present, Zanotta reaffirms its commitment to celebrating design by renowned authors, reinterpreting historic projects through a careful process of review that seeks to preserve the original identity of the objects while updating them with new finishes.

Marcuso: new interpretations for contemporary living

A symbol of Zanotta’s technical expertise, and among the first to experiment with an innovative technology combining metal and glass, Marco Zanuso’s Marcuso table returns to the collection in its original form, featuring a stainless steel frame and a glass top, in the round version available in diameters of 120, 130, 140, and 150 centimetres. Alongside this reissue, Zanotta presents two new variations of the model, both characterised by a central structure and legs in glossy painted steel, available in talc, hemp, algae, amaranth and espresso.

The first version features a Calacatta marble top, creating an elegant contrast between the solidity of the material and the natural luminosity of the stone. The second is distinguished by a lacquered MDF top, available in a glossy or matte ton-sur-ton finish with the base, producing a harmonious monochromatic effect. The use of colour further emphasises Zanotta’s intention to reinterpret Marcuso in a contemporary key, giving the project a renewed and distinctive character.

Cuculia: new forms and unique colours

Alessandro Mendini’s design returns to the collection with a new edition of the Cuculia bowl, further enriching this celebrated family of objects with instantly recognisable design. Made from rigid polyurethane with a glossy bicolour lacquer, the Cuculia bowls are now offered in three colour variations and two sizes: 25 cm in diameter with a yellow interior and lilac exterior (new for 2025); and 51 cm in diameter with a red coral interior and green exterior, or an amaranth interior with a caramel exterior (introduced in 2024).
