Communication platform, seating podium or exhibition display – stepup offers a playful freedom in space. The brilliance of the system is in the possibilities created by dimensionally coordinated cubic volumes of 4 basic elements. Using these 4 modules, for example, can either be used to build a platform tower at standing height or horizontally joined as a free-form seating landscape. stepup presents a creative solution paired together with a remarkable visual composition.
Design.
Recessed alcoves and different openings in the configuration of the individual modules, combined with the materials used, create architectural volumes in space.
Modules.
The exceptional proportions of the individual modules make it possible to build a variety of configuration options with only 4 basic element types. All 4 modules can be used on both sides, defining neither right nor left elements.
Material.
Raw, yet fine. Independent, and yet adjusts itself to any architectural setting. The combination of black MDF with a fiber composite acoustic absorber characterizes the outer appearance of stepup and contributes to better room acoustics. An anti-slip covering prevents the elements from moving and thus useable stacked on a second level.
Flexible.
stepup can be used as a seating platform in open lounge areas, waiting areas, meetings or even as a podium for an auditorium. For standing communication, a pedestal tower becomes a meeting island in the room. In stores or in exhibition spaces, the individual elements provide exciting display areas for a wide variety of presentations.
The application scenarios of stepup are versatile.
