The I-Beam is made from solid blocks of recycled cork and reinforced with hidden steel rods for added durability. The versatile form of the I-Beam can be used for additional seating, a side table, or even stacked horizontally for a buildable bookshelf.

Concepto

The members of the Cork Series were designed not for the space they occupy, but the negative space they do not. With strategic out-cuts based on objects designed with other uses in mind, we were able to transform the lightweight and extrememly durable material into playful products with a smooth, velvety finish.
