Sonia Laudet

MARKET SET signs its first collaboration with Sonia Laudet, a young and talented upholsterer designer. A

creative and manufacturing lighting brand from the Bordeaux Region and a designer upholsterer from the

Basque coast meet and gather around a common eco-design process.

Sonia Laudet graduated from Fashion Schools and completed her education with a degree in upholstery

design. She expresses her love for textile materials and her ecological awareness through her work.

On the crossroads of design and craftwork, her resolutely contemporary approach is clearly in line with

the Slow Movement. In fashion as in design, Sonia matches recycled textiles, brings rhythm to shapes

and colors with a well-established singularity and a rigorous and meticulous know-how. Her artistic

approach evokes her travels where lights and landscapes intertwine.

This project is above all sharing the same environmental and social values, which makes this collaboration

self-evident. The recycling and recovery of scrap fabric lie at the heart of the project. The poetic and

delicate result is an ode to the great passion Market Set and Sonia Laudet share for the textile.
