Sinus is a modern classic from 1976 which was already ahead of its time when it was first launched. With rocking spring steel skids whose shape give the chair its name, as well as unusual upholstery. The round seat and back upholstery elements are held in place by leather straps. Sinus appears to be weightless as it rocks lightly. And anyone who has come to rest on the distinctive upholstery will never want to give up this favourite chair again.
Concepto
Neither the design history of modern seating culture nor model collections from COR would be thinkable without it: With its cantilever spring steel runners and roll-shaped upholstery held in place by leather straps, the cantilever chair SINUS has been regarded as the epitome of timelessly modern form since 1976. In 2013 we are further increasing the comfort factor, making the seat just a little softer. Our new soft version of the upholstery (which also takes up an original idea of the first design) consists of a mixture of real down and moulded foam parts.
