Concepto

Naoto Fukasawa has designed a wooden chair for Plank which reflects his sensitivity for this natural material. Blocco is like a symbolized graphic image of a chair. As its name suggests, it almost seems as carved from a single piece of wood. The result is an elegant chair with attention to the proportions.

All products of the Blocco family are available in natural ash and in matt open grain colors. Blocco armchair and chair are stackable to respond to the functional requirements for public environments such as cafes and restaurants, but also for the private home.

The stool, the last born product, enhances the great precision in the planning process and the attention to the proportions thanks to a careful method of formal reduction. The ring for the foot rest changes material to alienate its self from the wooden architecture of the stool pending and hiding any kind of fixation or joint mechanism. All products of the Blocco family are available in natural ash and in matt open grain colors.

Application areas: Contract, Gastronomy, Living and Office.

Technical details chair: Ash wooden structure- natural lacquered, black stained lacquered or colored with a matt open grain in grey, white and blue. Stackable.
