Concepto
La estructura de Physix parte de la idea de crear una carcasa de asiento continua, formada por una única superficie textil tensada entre dos largueros laterales. Gracias a su diseño, Physix ha pasado a formar parte de la lista de sillas consideradas icónicas y ha logrado superar el nivel de las sillas de su categoría.
Utilizando técnicas de producción y materiales punteros, Alberto Meda ha creado un asiento dinámico y radical- mente innovador en el que destaca la interacción de tres elementos: bastidor flexible, tapicería de tejido elástico y mecanismo de estabilización. La combinación de estos tres elementos ha dado lugar a una ingeniosa estructura que abre nuevas posibilidades de asiento dinámico mediante la interacción de componentes rígidos y flexibles.
Physix también está disponible como silla giratoria de oficina y con una base en estrella de cuatro puntas en la versión Physix Conference.
