This model originates in the idea to take apart the volume of the handle into flat elements that are then intersected in an intriguing way according to a geometrically complex and aesthetically interesting image. That expressive experiment was combined with a process of formal definition that takes ergonomics into consideration. In the polished chrome version, the separation of the elements attains its most luminous and innovative appearance thanks to the multiplication of reflections generated by the differently inclined planes.
