OLIO

"Olio" stands for improvised collage, a hodgepodge of leftover materials. This concept is what inspired designer Max Lipsey to create a new side table for our Aztec sofa. The base is made up of leftover metal pipes and sheet metal. The top is divided in four smaller pieces, in order to utilize material left over from the production process. The matte powder-coated top and base complement our Aztec modular sofas. The off the cuff, asymmetrical design is available in different heights (50, 55 or 72 cm high). These can be combined with the Aztec sofa in a myriad of ways: with the table top positioned vertically or horizontally, low or high, and connected to either an armrest, back element or between two elements. This makes the Olio an ideal accessory for keeping a glass of wine or a plate of food. Composed of waste materials and available in the colors rust and sand, Olio is a sustainable, expressive addition to any Aztec sofa.
