Powell, or the quintessential modern-day sofa as Minotti sees it: welcoming, refined and informal. A seating system with fixed and sectional seats, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni to cater to a natural desire to relax. Powell expresses itself through its simple style lines and meticulous craftsmanship with the use of goose down padding for both the single seat and backrest cushions, which makes for a very comfortable sofa. The skill of handcrafted workmanship is expressed in the perfection of the detailing such as the outer stitching that defines the sofa profile and forms a teardrop in the corner with the 45°joint. The base is raised from the ground and sits on set-back feet which are therefore hidden from view making the Powell sofa seem suspended. The base has a new bronze finish in addition to the existing three: granite, pewter and sand.
To make Powell even more inviting, it has a headrest in saddle-hide that can be easily positioned near the armrest and backrest and used to support the cushion, offering the right support and maximum comfort. The saddle-hide headrest is available in Mud, Chestnut, Tobacco and Black.
