The collection of Elephant chairs, with their characteristic structure inspired by the shape of an elephant's back, is enhanced with a new item: the bistrot table. Based on the trestle base of the swivel version, in polished or painted pressure die-cast aluminium, it supports a thin round top. The idea has been extended to also include a version with a double base and a rectangular top. Versatile Elephant tables are available with tops in different colours, either fixed or folding, to suit the most diverse needs and contexts: the home, the office or contract furniture projects.
Concepto
Partiendo de una estructura muy simple, Eva Paster y Michael Geldmacher de Neuland dan vida a un proyecto extraordinariamente innovador, premiado en el año 2012 con el Interior Innovation Award. La clave del éxito de esta butaca superventas es su gran versatilidad, que permite una evolución prácticamente continua, así como la alta calidad de la confección sartorial de sus revestimientos. El bastidor está disponible en poliuretano, también con cojines; con relleno y revestido en cuero, con la típica nervadura de refuerzo que recuerda la espina dorsal de un elefante; y con relleno y revestido en tejido, con costuras realizadas a mano. Además de las patas de madera o metal, la silla puede tener base de trineo, mecedora, giratoria o con ruedas.
