The Orchid collection, designed by the Milan-based Palomba + Serafini team exclusively for JANUS et Cie, features seamless, fluid profiles evoking the exotic Vanda orchid for which it is named. Orchid’s contemporary winged silhouettes are masterfully handwoven in outdoor-friendly JANUSfiber over durable aluminum frames, resulting in dramatic forms that cradle the human body and harmonize with nature. Skilled artisans and experts in the craft of traditional weaving were called upon to create Orchid’s chevron-like weaves in exacting detail.
