The Golem range of single-coloured wall tiles complets the program of Art Nouveau tiles. All tiles have square edges, thereby it´s possible to lay them with small joints. The joint should have a maximum width of 2 millimetre. In former times they sometimes were butted together.

Every tile is hand glazed, also the kilns are stacked by hand. While the firing-process the glazes become to be thin fluid so the glaze melts away and formed by hardening a play of colors. By laying the tiles you have to heed a casual mix of them to get a fine balanced general view. A typical affect of Art Nouveau tiles is the cracked glaze witch accent the trancparency of the glaze. To use in the shower you may use poor cracked glazes.
