Yo Metal

Yo is a collection of chairs and stools designed for public, domestic and work environments. Material variety, functional declination and skilful use of colour are the distinctive traits of a simple and elegant product that is simultaneously innovative and appealing, capable of meeting the needs of an increasingly heterogeneous and changing market. The unibody of this multi-purpose chair, with its formal simplicity, represents the common thread that runs through the entire series and, when combined with different bases, generates a multi-faceted family whose distinguishing feature is versatility. The colour combinations of upholstery, wood and metal enliven the office environment, creating a cosy, informal atmosphere in which people feel at ease. The modern and minimalist design, together with the wide range of finishes, add a touch of vivacity to contract and home furnishing projects. Depending on the unibody material, Yo is divided into: Yo Wood, with a beech plywood, natural or bleached oak veneer unibody; Yo Fabric, with a lightly upholstered unibody in fabric or eco-leather; Yo Plastic, with a polypropylene unibody, available in 8 different colours. The latter can be provided with a fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene unibody, fully upholstered in fabric or eco-leather or with a completely removable cover with horizontal stitching. The seat can be equipped with different types of bases: cantilever or 4-leg frame made of chrome-plated or painted steel rod in eight different shades: White (RAL 9010), Black (RAL 9005), Maize yellow (RAL 1006), Titian red (RAL 050 50 60), Gentle blue (RAL 250 60 15), Led blue (RAL 260 40 45), Pebble grey (RAL 7032) and Green grey (RAL 7009). The Yo seating collection, designed by Progetto CMR, has been further enriched with the addition of Yo Metal, a multifunctional outdoor seat with a versatile and modern design also available in a lounge version. The wide choice of finishes is also available for the armrests with chromed or painted metal arm-pads. Stackability, linkability and a removable writing tablet (only available for the cantilever variant) allow Yo to fit seamessly into public spaces such as libraries, auditoriums and multi-purpose rooms. The collection is completed by a stool in two different heights which perfectly matches with the seat, furnishing hybrid spaces where working environments mix with relaxation areas and meeting and collaboration spaces.
