Linear and rigorous in design, soft and welcoming in its seating, the Stand By Armchair, with a metal or wooden structure, lends itself to complement any environment, such as relaxation areas, meetings or individual work areas.
Designed by the Favaretto & Partners studio, Stand By Armchair is part of the large Stand By family, a transversal collection of sound-absorbing panels, modular sofas, armchairs, benches and poufs, designed for the office of the future.
Backrest, armrests and seat unite in a single structure with linear yet harmonious lines.
The presence of elastic belts and a sheet of memory foam, increases the comfort of the seat without sacrificing the strength of the solid wood internal structure.
The soft padding in flexible polyurethane and the availability of a wide choice of upholstery make sitting very comfortable.
The slim tubular steel legs elegantly support the seat and are available in white or black painted versions.
The solid wood base, oak varnished, surrounds the square corners of the structure with the four downwards tapered legs. The result is a perfect combination of warm tones and bright colours.
Stand By Armchair fits easily into office and contract furnishing projects as a visitor/meeting or waiting seat.

Curiosity, rigor and passion for research characterize the work of ‘Favaretto & Partners’ during 40 years, specialized in industrial and architectural design. Founded in 1973 as ‘Studio Favaretto’, it has developed, starting from the 80s , a long experience in Italy and abroad, cementing long-term relationships with leading production companies, and together with them it led the whole process of industrialization for most of the projects receiving several awards for the same. Ability in the application of materials, precision design and research for innovation, form and function , always characterized the approach of ‘Favaretto & Partners’. The technical competencies gleaned over decades and the ever-present passion for experimentation have enabled the practice to work successfully and with versatility in different manufacturing sectors, from telephones to furnishings (seating, lighting, upholstered ) to medical and household objects. In particular ‘Favaretto & Partners’ has specialized in the planning, prototyping and production of office furniture, technical seating (task and executive) and collective systems, introducing, in certain cases, design languages embraced by other designers and manufacturers. ‘Favaretto & Partners’ actively supports and adheres to the principles of “Design for All”, a declaration accepted by the European Commission and promoted by the I.I.D.D.
