The chair in the Shrimp series extends the design line of the larger easy chairs towards the table. With wooden legs the chair has a homely appearance; with chrome-plated steel legs Shrimp is stackable for contract use – a functional challenge which has been met
elegantly in spite of the concave shell. Both versions can take on highly varied appearances with differently coloured lacquer, upholstery and types of wood for the shell.
Concepto
Perfection at its most beautiful.
Whether as a lounge chair or as a cocktail chair — Shrimp succeeds effortlessly in structuring large areas such as hotel foyers as well as extending an invitation to linger in smaller rooms such as lounges. Wherever it happens to be, its sharp silhouette turns heads. Its elegant outline results from flat padding and a bentwood shell which has a particularly refined appearance thanks to its side recesses. A choice of wood, leather or fabric for the shell creates highly varied highlights. So much for appearances. Then the visitor sits down — with a sense of firm support and anything but a sinking feeling. The chair can be rotated and combined with a matching footstool.
