Once launched as the first element sofa range, Conseta has held its own in the most diverse interiors worldwide for almost 60 years. The recipe for success of this design classic may lie in its variability and its straightforwardness. Conseta is constantly being optimised and adapted to the zeitgeist as well as to current user demands. In 2022, it is to receive an upgrade. A new couch element with a 120 cm wide seating and reclining surface will become part of the programme. Spacious, with lounge character and room for two. If, for example, elements with a continuous seat cushion are added, the Conseta looks more rectilinear than ever. Expansive reclining spaces up to three metres wide can also be created with ease. Putting together (lat. consetus) and sitting together (lat. consedere) – Conseta skilfully combines both.
Concepto
In the early nineteen sixties, Friedrich Wilhelm Möller developed a pioneering upholstery system. Conseta – a name derived from the Latin consedere, which means “sit together”– offers modular flexibility while being as adaptable as a chameleon. In addition, Conseta has such a simple and streamlined design that it survives any changes in styles and trends: it was and continues to be the perfect expression of a holistic system.
VARIOUS STYLES OF ARMREST and a choice of carcass widths give birth to a wide range of design solutions. Conseta is not only a sofa programme but also an add-on programme offering countless possibilities.
