SAIHO ANTHRACITE

In Kyoto, the temple of mosses is home to hundreds of species whose colours change with the seasons. In this spectacular garden, with its singular beauty and deep shades, the moss softens the angles and lines. This place of wonder and contemplation has inspired “Saiho” an incredible wallcovering that combines softness with a 3D look and acoustic properties. A smooth velvet has been applied to a thick foam, before being embroidered in tonal colours. The yarn draws a sinuous line, the sensuality of the curves mirrors that of the material.
