Concepto
foild is the epitome of flexible room design in the changing world of work and beyond. The easy-to-position screens available in a high and low version can be infinitely extended – in a straight line or gently curved depending on the model – and pushed back together to save space when not in use. An innovative frame structure is at the heart of this design. The classic scissor system and generously curved aluminium bars are held together by sophisticated plug connectors. And they have high-quality fabric with an opaque appearance between them. The room set-up can be changed, with separate areas being created for private participation or quiet concentration alone or in groups, sitting or standing. What makes the design even better is that no tools are required to assemble or disassemble it. The materials can be replaced or separated and sorted, which means foild promises longevity and sustainability for conscious customers.

Switzerland
Founded in 1991 in La Neuveville, Switzerland, by Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond, today atelier oï is one of the most internationally renowned Swiss design offices. The name oï is derived from the Russian word “troïka”, which means a carriage drawn by three horses. The designers use the middle section of this word to represent the idea behind their collaboration – a creative triumvirate driving projects forward. The transdisciplinary atelier, based in the Moïtel (a former 1960s motel), is a creative place that unites intellectual expertise and craftsmanship. The work of the internationally sought-after designers ranges from architecture and interior design to product design and scenography.
