Eggboard Baffle

Eggboard combines excellent design (iF Design Award 2016, Red Dot Award: Best of the Best 2016, Lux Middle East Award 2016), high lighting comfort and acoustic effectiveness. Thanks to different dimensions, mounting types, colors and innovative optical units, the luminaire family offers variable options for lighting and acoustic planning in open office landscapes, conference rooms, shops or restaurants.

The acoustic properties are specifically tailored to the frequency range of the human voice (1 to 4 kHz) in order to reduce its reverberation time and thus increase speech intelligibility. This is achieved through sound-absorbing material (recycled PET) and the sinusoidal wave structure of the lower panel surface. For optimal effectiveness, the horizontal Eggboard Matrix pendant light is hung 40 to 60 cm below the ceiling and hovers about 100 cm directly above the sound source, for example a PC workstation with a telephone. Eggboard elegantly replaces a classic acoustic ceiling and at the same time provides pleasant lighting.

A very long-lasting module made up of numerous efficient LEDs is integrated into the vertical pendant light Eggboard Baffle (1600x400 mm, 44 W + 18 W), which emit warm white or neutral white light with high color rendering (CRI 80) onto the work surface. All lights in the Eggboard family are dimmable and DALI compatible. They can be combined with each other and also with pure absorber elements without light to increase the acoustic effectiveness. They are available in green, gray and white.
