Concepto
Wood is the common denominator behind kayak, the collection of chairs developed using traditional technologies with a truly elegant design. It is a complex design in technical terms; it offers a welcoming seat, very pleasant to the eye and equally stable. This stability is guaranteed in spite of the extremely thin sections of the curved seat and the elements of the structure itself. The challenge of the French designer has been to minimize the thickness of the chair without compromising physical endurance. So the legs, the structure and the shell are assembled to return a very light immage in terms of formal aspects.
Kayak has now become even more comfortable, thanks to the introduction of the soft version which heightens its comfort. The new cushion made of expanded polyurethane is covered with cutting-edge Kvadrat® fabrics. This expansion of the kayak collection further enhances the product, both in terms of aesthetics and comfort, making it even better suitable for domestic and contract uses. It is in keeping with developing tastes of contemporary users who have a keen eye for design, but are increasingly unwilling to forego comfort in the name of formal precision. Structure and backrest are available in natural oak, or oak dyed in a dark or walnut colour, The finish range is now completed thanks to the new natural beech wood finish as well as a number of open-pore colour.
