The Fantoni company, beating heart of the Group, was founded by Achille Fantoni in 1882 and is based in Osoppo, in the province of Udine. Fantoni is a leading industrial reality in the production of office furniture, partition and storage walls, MDF and chipboard panels, as well as sound-absorbing panels. All stages of the production process are completed within the network of companies belonging to the Group, which all operate synergically to develop their products: from the production of materials and semi-finished products to the creation of innovative office furniture systems that draw their inspiration from the latest principles of wellbeing and design. The company's philosophy has historically been characterized by the Multipli project, a furniture program designed to meet the multiple needs of the office conceived by architect Gino Valle in 1968. It represents a solution that aims to surpass the concept of the office as a hierarchical structure, in favor of an open, free, and continuously transforming system through the use of modularity in the dimensions and form of the various elements, devoid of any unnecessary decorative or functional details. The fundamental concepts of the Multipli program, distinguished by the unmistakable 45-degree cut - which visually eliminates the thicknesses of the surfaces, creating pieces that fit together perfectly - can be found in most Fantoni collections, both for executive and operational environments. Having received the Compasso d’Oro award for lifetime achievement in 1998 from ADI for primary design, Fantoni Group has become a reference point within the sector, where architecture and research have guided the company's growth and the development of increasingly innovative products.
