Bioo’s mission is to bring together nature and technology via innovative solutions that will improve quality of life. The company is part of the current biotech revolution.

With this in mind, Bioo has developed two different technologies: Batteries that generate electricity through soil. We take advantage of the organic substances in natural soils and decompose them with micro-organisms, which we use to create free electrons and generate an electric current.

Right now this technology is not able to power a home or business, but it can power independent devices such as the crop monitoring sensors that the Bioo team is currently working on.

Biological switches which are activated upon interacting with plants. Plants are able to control changes in frequency when they come into contact with other beings. At Bioo we are harnessing this antenna effect of the plants to turn them into biological switches in a natural way and without damaging them.

We have known for some time that plants are affected by waves. At Bioo we are taking advantage of this so that when a human being touches a plant, it activates light and sound systems.
