Another Country makes contemporary craft furniture and accessories. Our designs are inspired by archetype, calling on the familiar and unpretentious forms of British Country kitchen style, Shaker, traditional Scandinavian and Japanese woodwork for inspiration.

We believe in good design, longevity, sustainability and quality at fair prices.

We make use of traditional and modern craft techniques, endeavour to produce our product and run our business in a sustainable and responsible manner, and design our products to last. Every aspect of what we do is considered; from how we design to how we manufacture (in Portugal and the UK), pack, and ship. Our timber is sourced from responsible suppliers in the UK, Europe and the US, our upholstery is made in Devon from organic materials and we source our fabrics from Scotland and Belgium. You can find us online, at dealers in the UK and around the world and in our new showroom in Central London.
