Is there growing a market for Italian design in Poland?

Everything indicates that Poles like Italian furniture, especially that of the highest quality. This is confirmed by the unprecedented accumulation of premium brands at this year's Warsaw Home trade fair, attended by such giants as Moroso, Edra, Cappelini, Kartell, Magis and B&B Italia.

Despite the fact that Scandinavian style is getting higher popularity, Poles have an appetite for Italian design, same as the rest of the world. The Poles are better educated in respect of an aware interior creation in their flats and houses, they learn how to recognise good brands and simply appreciate good design.

Italians in Poland

There has to be stated that such large scale exhibitions in Poland occur rarely. Italian brands, also those of the highest quality, can be seen in prime interior furnishing showrooms specialising in design. Such kind of stores are mostly to be found in big cities. They attract design lovers, architects, interior designers and customers who will pay for the highest design.

Experience Italian design during Warsaw Home

There no better way to estimate a furniture than by touch and sight. Interior fairs provide such an occasion to get real life access to so many brands at the same time. There are architects, store owners and customers who travel around the world in order to seize an opportunity and see particular products, make comparisons and find something perfect for oneself. It’s not a must to go abroad in order to do so. "I am working in the area of Poland for less than 7 years", indicates Mr. Marco Lunardelli, "being in charge of such Italian brands as Moroso, Foscarini , Falper and Cesar. In my opinion, the attitude of final customers to design brands is changing. They are being more and more appreciated. I think that this is not the level I expect based on structural urban changes, though. More and more people are travelling and they can be delighted with Italian design. It’s coming Warsaw Home, a large scale fair that constitutes another occasion to promote Italian brands in Poland." stresses Mr. Marco Lunardelli.

This year's edition of Warsaw Home indicates a great event to occur. Indeed, Warsaw will host great Italian brands such as Edra, Moroso, Kartell, Magis, B&B Italia and Capellini that set the trends and occupy prestigious spaces at other international fairs. Moreover, there will also participate Qeeboo a brand created by Stefano Giovannoni who will come in person at Warsaw Home. Thus, this year’s Warsaw Home is a great chance to meet the best world-famous design and notice that stunning quality pays off.
