×Sporting associations evoked by the brand name LAUFEN are evident at the headquarters of the well-known Swiss sporting goods manufacturer Scott Sports. Here, LAUFEN used sleek and thoughtful designs in order to create the semi-public sanitary rooms in such a way that they fit in with the health-conscious lifestyle of the sport-loving employees.
The Scott Sports headquarters in Givisiez represents a modern working environment in which private and professional life merge. Accordingly, the location's sanitary facilities were designed not only be able to handle a high number of visitors, but also offer employees the chance to freshen up after training before work or during breaks.

×Sporting solutions
In collaboration with the architects IttenBrechbühl, LAUFEN found solutions to implement these specific requirements. The Swiss bathroom provider is known for its bespoke projects, which perfectly match functionality and design to the challenges on site.
LAUFEN developed washbasins for the new building that met the client’s desire for clean design and which would offer practical details such as integrated soap dispensers and paper holders. The design was realised with Sentec, a high-quality mineral casting material from LAUFEN that combines sensual and technical benefits.

×Sustainability and optimal use of space
In addition to the customised washbasin solutions, LAUFEN supplied touch-free Twintronic fittings with a cool Inox look and stainless steel Showertronic shower fittings as well as infra-red-controlled Lema urinals that promote responsible and conscious use of water.
The concept was complemented by individual washbasins from the Val series, which make optimum use of even the smallest space, in combination with Twintronic fittings, which also feature infra-red control in order to minimise consumption costs and offer hygienic comfort. And, thanks to digital networking, Scott Sports can adjust and manage the facilities smartly – because environmental protection is fundamental to both Scott Sports as well as LAUFEN.
