There are companies, and then there are companies that mean what they say. Not only in terms of the quality of their products, their manufacturing and their ecological footprint, but in terms of everything that makes the individual product what it is. For Bremen-based acousticpearls, that means, above all, the people involved.

“For years, acousticpearls has been giving physical expression to a certain aesthetic perception,” says Clemens Lünig, CEO of the successful company. “We closely combine skilled craftsmanship and industrial know-how. The result is acoustically effective products of extraordinary creativity. Our passion for good design and our conscious dealing with the materials give rise to timeless collections of the highest quality. This can only be achieved by a team in which employees and suppliers work hand in hand responsibly and cooperatively. Our products are created by people working with great passion.”

People first

Jan Stubbmann, who started at acousticpearls while still in job training, has been working in the Sales Department with exactly this passion for five years now. He feels at home in the creative, dedicated team. “I have diverse and varied responsibilities that allow me to continue developing in different areas,” he says. During this time, he has experienced the evolution of acousticpearls first-hand. “The all-round worry-free package for the customer is what sets us apart,” he explains. “It’s fun to be able to offer customers maximum flexibility to help them realise their projects quickly.” He has also come to appreciate the strong team spirit in the firm, even when it is faced with demanding circumstances.

There is a special focus on how employees interact with each other. Ulrich Hausdorf, Area Sales Manager, who values the entrepreneurial vigour and compelling challenges at acousticpearls, underscores the pronounced team spirit. “The team works really well together, which made it easy for me to make my start here a little over a year ago now,” he recounts. “The outstanding character of the team shines through, especially in dealing with unusual situations.” He additionally emphasises the fun of working in the acousticpearls Sales Department and having the opportunity to contribute to the development of new products.

The right investment

acousticpearls offers its employees plentiful promotional opportunities as well as options for continuing and advanced training, including in acoustics and foreign languages – benefits which aren’t to be taken for granted, and which have a strong appeal to many young people. The future is an important factor that one shouldn’t lose sight of. And even the junior staff actively appreciate the working climate at acousticpearls. The trainees Anja Kühne, now in her third year, and Monia Wendelken, in her second, find their jobs interesting and full of variety – both because acoustics and design are fascinating subjects and because the young women are already being integrated in diverse work processes. The two agree that through this they have “quickly learned to take responsibility and work independently.” Through the support they have received and the trust they have been shown, they felt comfortable in the company right from the beginning.

Through other eyes

And how is acousticpearls seen from beyond the company walls? As described by Werner Biedermann, Managing Director of Weigang-Primoris GmbH, the picture from the outside perspective is similarly harmonious: “The Weigang factory has enjoyed a successful and trustful working relationship with acousticpearls for a number of years now. We make all of the architectural products in the acousticpearls portfolio, including accessory items and connection fittings. The high vertical manufacturing range and in-house product development have yielded a creative and efficient collaboration.”

On this basis, a number of exciting large-scale projects have been jointly realised. The open and honest dealings between the companies play an essential role, facilitating cooperation at all levels. “With almost a century of experience, Weigang stands for continuity, reliability and great market acceptance. In a very short period of time, acousticpearls has developed into one of our most important partners.”

Meant and made for people

The company motto is clear: listen, analyse and then act. The common denominator is sought, without compromise and at all levels. “Our responsibility doesn’t end with the sale,” says Clemens Lünig. With his philosophy, he wants to continue to be a reliable partner for the businesses he collaborates with, and above all for his customers and his employees – and to do so at the helm of a strong enterprise with an ethos of cooperation and mutual appreciation and its sights set firmly on the future.
