What does the future of work look like? Interstuhl provides answers
Rearrange and rethink – the compatible elements that make up German office furniture expert Interstuhl's HUB system are flexible in every way.

Combining openness and enclosure in the same room concept is not an impossibility thanks to HUB. With pods and screens, partitioning space becomes an aesthetic principle and a variable solution
All people may be equal before the law, but our everyday lives are shaped by numerous different preferences, personal needs and changing conditions – in our private lives, too, but especially at work. Modern working environments must allow for individuality and flexibility, albeit for many people at the same time.
Pure seating comfort and freedom of design: HUB elements can be used flexibly. Relaxation zones can easily be divided into areas for quiet work with just a few simple steps and pod elements
The future is modular
The modular HUB system from Interstuhl facilitates the design of New Work environments. Completely individual and always different – because the compatible elements of HUB adapt to the relevant needs. A HUB3 pod with a sofa serves as a retreat, without a pod and with two more sofas, it becomes an open space, while a HUB board screen provides structure and can also be used as a flipchart. Rearranging and rethinking remain an option at all times.HUB designer Volker Eysing wanted to create a modern sofa and a cleverly conceived wall system that can be used both in combination and as individual autonomous elements. This approach has resulted in pods of various heights and widths, mobile and stationary partitions with media connections and mounts for whiteboard, armchairs and sofas in different versions, benches and side tables – even a swing.
HUB makes it possible to easily set up different workspaces for meetings or desk-sharing in open areas like this factory floor
Why is the system so versatile?
The design freedom of HUB is further enhanced by different cover fabrics, colour options and a choice of frames and bases. Thanks to these options, HUB can be easily and individually adapted to the ideas of the company, architect or planner – from dynamic and active to an oasis of calm.HUB thus offers a variety of answers to the current question: What will our future working world look like? ‘HUB is flexible in every regard and has a comfortable ambience,’ is how Eysing describes his design. HUB facilitates the creation of unique environments and the realisation of ideas in keeping with the motto: everything is possible, and can be made new again and again.
