150 years of experience and yet full of surprises: what sounds contradictory at first glance is a living reality for the Swiss umbrella brand Arbonia. With its 14 individual brands and two subsidiaries, it deliberately breaks with expectations – as was the case with its first public appearance, which was less of a trade fair and more of an experience in its own right.
Arbonia Next25 took place in Erfurt from 17 to 28 March 2025, and was nothing short of a congress, a networking event and a product exhibition combined with training courses and keynote speeches. It drew more than 2,000 visitors from the contract sector. The occasion for this extraordinary event was the launch of the Arbonia brand, which offers a uniquely comprehensive portfolio of doors, showers, room partitioning systems, door handles and locking systems, catering to every price segment. This makes the brand the go-to point of contact for architects, interior designers and planners.

Harnessing innovation, growing together
Over eleven days in March, Arbonia showcased what it truly means to offer a comprehensive portfolio under one roof. Far from being merely a product exhibition, the event was a value-added experience, featuring renowned speakers and panellists, including the architects Max Dudler and Jürgen Mayer H., industrial designer Dominik Tesseraux, futurologist Anabel Ternès and Jan Louis Metzmeier from the innovative Berlin concept hotel MM:NT.Their topics included the interplay between industry and property development, design and functionality, trends, the future of building and, of course, sustainability. After all, Arbonia's stated goals include consolidating and enhancing innovation and sustainability, as well as collaboratively advancing digital planning tools, ease of assembly and aesthetics across all product and price segments.

Incidentally, most of the brands grouped together under the new name are likely already well known: Dimoldura, for instance, along with GARANT, Kermi, Kiwi, Koralle, PRÜM Schlatter and TPO. Moving forward, they will work hand in hand to deliver everything from standard products to bespoke solutions, from door handles and locking systems to high-performance functional doors and interior doors. They are committed to design and technological compatibility, streamlining everyday planning.
