New ownership positions ARCHITONIC for growth, a renewed premium focus and expanded opportunities for architects, designers and brands worldwide.

DAAily Platforms, the globally leading digital media company focused on architecture and design, and SANDOW Companies, a design-centric holding company operating leading media, platforms and services businesses, today announced that ARCHITONIC, the global inspiration platform for design professionals, will join SANDOW Companies.
The acquisition marks a strategic step for SANDOW Companies, further strengthening its portfolio and reinforcing its long-term commitment to serving the global architecture and design community through best-in-class platforms, services and content.
For ARCHITONIC – home to a global community of architects, planners and interior designers – the move provides a powerful foundation for accelerated growth. Under new ownership, ARCHITONIC will be positioned to advance its premium offering and deliver even greater value through innovative tools and solutions for both users and brand partners alike.
This acquisition also unlocks meaningful collaboration across SANDOW Companies and its broader ecosystem of platforms, including Material Bank, the world’s largest marketplace for searching, sampling and specifying architecture, design and construction materials. Together, these businesses will enable deeper cross-pollination, new services and enhanced opportunities for specifiers and brands worldwide.

ARCHITONIC has been acquired from DAAily Platforms, the parent company of ArchDaily and designboom. The transaction reflects DAAily Platforms’ strategic decision to sharpen its focus on its core editorial mission, led by its globally recognised flagship brands.
With this renewed focus, ArchDaily and designboom are strongly positioned to further expand their influence, accelerate growth and reinforce their leadership in architecture and design media. At the same time, ARCHITONIC will continue its development in an environment closely aligned with its specialised market and long-term initiatives.
