With its new Yachting Tales catalogue, Cassina imagines how some of these products could be used to furnish the living spaces of various luxury superyachts. Among the designs on display are the iconic 3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, grand modèle armchairs by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, which are shown in a stylish living space alongside the contemporary Mex Hi sofa and coffee table by Piero Lissoni. Other design icons that are ideally suited to life on board these floating palaces include the Committee Chair and Capitol Complex Table, Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret, which are shown forming a stunning dining suite. The low-slung and invitingly curvaceous Lady armchair by Marco Zanuso provides an ideal seat for gazing out to sea, while Charlotte Perriand’s Refolo sofa-bench pairs perfectly with the Sestiere vase by Patricia Urquiola, creating playful shadows as summer sun floods the cabin.
