Maisonette transforms a former ballroom space into a comfortable modern home and sleek showcase for the family’s art collection.

Roughly hewn masonry walls and concrete columns retain their texture, pleasantly contrasting with the malleable qualities of steel and glass, which form floating platforms above the main living spaces. Perforated steel plates form a passerelle between the platforms, while steel plates with smaller perforations create a series of acoustic doors for storage areas.

New technical requirements meet the modern needs of contemporary living and provide space for kitchen appliances, audiovisual equipment, acoustic absorption, and storage.
