New living space in the mountains

Priesteregg in Austria’s Salzburger Land makes holiday dreams come true with the world’s first and only Willy Bogner Chalet. An existing premium chalet in a prime position in the alpine village has been converted and extended by a new living area with a unique panoramic view.
The spectacular view over the Leogang valley and the surrounding mountains is ensured by a floor-to-ceiling, frameless, design sliding system developed by KELLER AG. The large design windows of the type KELLER minimal windows® to the south and west side can be opened completely and transform the room into an outdoor living room in summer.

In addition to a cosy couch, guests will find a kitchenette, a toilet and a rock shower. Mature timber, gentle colours, indirect lighting and accessories made of felt characterise the modern, naturally-oriented, classy design and spread a feeling of cosiness. The impressive open fireplace was manufactured with natural stone from the High Tauern national park. Hollow tree trunks serve as a design element or are highlighted by soft illumination. There is a slightly raised work area whose partially glazed wall allows a view of the summit of the 2,624-metre-high Birnhorn.

The new living area leads entirely without barriers through the transparent, smoothly sliding KELLER minimal windows® glass wall system onto a large wooden patio that offers holidaymakers limitless relaxation with seats, fire ring, private hot pot and sauna. The highlight of the luxury residence is the heated Infinity stainless steel pool, whose hillside location lets guests literally float over the valley.

A cosy multimedia area was created on the first floor of the Willy Bogner Chalet, where guests can watch films in 3D with cinema-like sound or browse in “Bogner’s library”. The adjacent bedroom was also redesigned and refined with a new bed, a wall made of hand-hewn stone pine and stylish decorations.

The Willy Bogner Chalet offers space for two guests and can be booked for 590 euros per person per night with no seasonal surcharge. Apart from the usual inclusive Priesteregg services, an additional premium service is included in the overnight accommodation price for the Willy Bogner Chalet. This includes a welcoming bottle of vintage champagne, breakfast, all non-alcoholic drinks, a daily evening dinner served together with a suitable wine recommendation in the chalet or in the Hotel Brugg, plus further conveniences such as Bogner’s Barbecue Service. Apart from lighting the fire ring, this also includes delivery of the food for barbecuing, such as meat, vegetables, salads, barbecue sauces and bread. If desired, the meal is prepared by a “mountain fairy” from Priesteregg.
