2.000 m2, 7,200 tiles: these are the numbers behind this development. Ceramiche Keope has played a leading role in the refurbishing of the Museo Egizio in Turin that, despite being still open to the public, has been the subject of a great refurbishing project of Studio Isolarchitetti: the first stage was completed last July; the second and last stage will be completed in February 2015, just before the Expo begins.
Percorsi Extra of the In&Out line, in the Pietra di Faedis colour and 30x60 and 60x60 cm sizes, is the collection of porcelain stoneware that has been chosen for the floors of the new Hypogeum.
Opened on August 1st, this new area is beneath the courtyard of the Palazzo dell’Accademia delle Scienze, which houses a new section of the museum that is having a great success: in August 2013 alone, visitors were more than 55,000.

With Percorsi Extra, which interprets in a modern manner the purity and refined appearance of natural stone, designers had the aim of creating a surface that could integrate perfectly into the surrounding environment and enhance the beauty and value of the works presented at the museum.
The series is characterised by excellent technical performance in terms of resistance to wear, breaking, foot traffic, slipping (R11 non-slip coefficient), water and abrasion, to guarantee the utmost safety in this area subject to heavy traffic - namely the museum - that is subject to the most stringent standards for commercial and public buildings.

The Museo Egizio was founded in 1824. It houses the world's second largest collections of Egyptian antiquities after Cairo.
