The Nordic metropolis of Copenhagen has a lot to offer gourmets too: the Restaurant Geist by Michelin star chef Bo Bech is one of the new attractions in the centre of the Danish capital. Here, we find a range of high-quality options set amidst an imaginative ambience, with a dash of Scandinavian nonchalance. Products by Axor, the designer brand of Hansgrohe SE, emphasise the high standards of the renowned chef and owner, in several places.

The interior design consistently focuses on contrasts: it's both dynamic and tranquil, and playful and serious at the same time. As well as the dark panelling, the artistic lighting and florally-entwined metal latticework really catch the eye. Patinated plaster walls match the antique mirror frames. In the dark washrooms, where the space is visually expanded by mirrored ceilings, hidden loudspeakers make the water gurgle. In selecting Axor Bouroullec for the wash basins, the interior designers have achieved a solution that is both harmonious and innovative.

And just outside the door the wonderful variety of shapes continues, all the way around the Kongens Nytorv: the grand baroque residence next door houses the French Embassy, while on the opposite side of the square there is the Royal Danish Theatre and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
The Michelin star chef has opted for Axor in the kitchen, too.

Axor products were also restaurant chef Bo Bech's first choice for the state-of-the-art preparation areas: with their design and ergonomic lever handles, the slimline Axor Citterio single lever kitchen mixers fulfil the highest standards of quality. And there is a menu to match, which, according to restaurant critics, is a splendid example of the “new Nordic cuisine”.
