Two independent apartments are integrated in the house. Each apartment has spacious rooms with a lot of light and a beautiful view of the valley and the village of Diemtigen, Wakker prize winner.
The architectural style of the house is both very modern and traditional, made entirely with ecological und natural building materials. The surrounding walls are made of modern cellular concrete, enriched with recycled glass as permeable coating, responding to high values of insulation. The two upper floors are made of wood frame construction, built entirely with Swiss wood. The interior plasters are based on breathable lime plaster, as well as slaked lime spatula. Natural stone and natural oiled parquet were used for the floors.
Concerning the lighting, preference was given to appliances with LED technology. Heating is provided by an air-source heat pump, which ensures also the floor heating. The currents is generated by a system of photovoltaic panels installed of the entire surface of the roof of the house and is injected into the network.
In addition to the breathtaking landscape, a spacious private Spa is provided in the apartment. The facilities include a sauna and a hammam, both with different temperature zones and chromotherapy, as well as a large massage shower. A large fireplace separates the spacious rest area from the furnished living room. Made of 350 years old resonance spruce, a soundboard with exceptional resonance qualities will eventually awaken all your senses.
