×The house is not rooted to its base, but is set off from it and gives a feeling of a floating space. Space and nature are not symbiotic, but are two identities in a close dialog.
The static structure – consisting of two space-containing concrete supports for the ancillary rooms – emphasizes this duality. The house as a retreat and intimate space sets itself apart from the surrounding nature, while simultaneously opening itself up to the imposing landscape. The inner space does not find its limits at the glass façade, but in the vastness of nature.
air-lux façade: a total of sixteen sliding window panes, motor-driven, up to a maximum size of 6 meters wide by 3 meters high, with the corresponding proportion of fixed glazing.
