ARLEX was founded in 1963 to provide quality home furniture at competitive prices. It increased its range with office furniture in 1984, when the whole company's vocation to service was strengthened definitively. One of the most crucial elements for a company is its reputation, and being known as a company that is interested in more than just numbers, a company that creates value; this is what sets us apart from other companies that only work in manufacturing. This is the vision that inspires ARLEX in its environmental policy, and the reason why it created a sustainable manufacturing chain which achieved ISO 14001 certification in 2006.

ARLEX has a plot of 35,000 m², out of which 14,000 are covered by a manufacturing plant with state-of-the-art technological machinery and comprehensive computerised management. As a result, practically all the manufacturing processes, from the selection and preparation of raw materials to the final packaging of the finished product, are internal and controlled by our quality department.
Quality is the basis of all ARLEX's work, and its achievement is so internalised that it has become the company's fundamental pillar of production. It is used as a starting point to develop characteristics and features that define all of our products. From the selection stage during raw material purchasing to the delivery of the finished product to our customers, ARLEX is committed to strictly fulfilling all current quality standards, both ones that are specific to Spain and others in the European Community.

ARLEX believes in design and is committed to it. It would be impossible to have a final product range that responded appropriately to market demands, providing contemporary, elegant solutions, without the ability to create forms that are perfectly in sync with their function and which adapt to specific production capacities. That's why ARLEX has its own design team, made up of highly qualified professionals, which is expanded by external designers. This is how we get different viewpoints, created in some cases by being objective and in others by looking inwards, the result of which is an overall perspective of the issue to be resolved.

One of the key factors that has kept us here since 1964 is the constant incorporation of new technologies into our business structure, this being understood as a whole unit. We have been constantly updating our processes, from manufacturing activities to the management of human resources, finances, materials and intangible assets. Technological innovation is encouraged in ARLEX by the acquisition and operation of all kinds of new generation tools, as well as the possibility to evolve by renewing solutions dealing with manufacturing, administration or commercial matters. Essentially, innovation is the fuel to ARLEX's engine. Our growth and desire to be more competitive would be stalled without it.

Being international is one of the key aspects of the FARAM ARLEX group. Being international means covering a wide geographic area via our sales network in order to be accessible and respond quickly to any request. We want to expand our horizons to guarantee the same level of service wherever we are needed. However, being international means much more: it also implies using a cosmopolitan, technological language of design, which can be understood in different locations. A universal language that can be used in very different cultural contexts, which blends in like a chameleon.
