OKO is a hi-tech sculptural abstraction that shows the true nature of steel – a common material that Zieta transforms into a refined object subtly diffusing light. However, it is just the way it looks. More important is what it implies: the deformations it creates make us more aware of what we see and how we see. In this regard, OKO could be compared to a miniature postmodern architectural form dedicated to personal meditation.

Concept

OKO is something more than just a mirror. It is one of the most perfect and simplest objects from Zieta’s mirrors collection. Its unique formally and technologically. Its ideally round, lustrous surface delicately reflects and diffuses light interacting with other objects and creating artistic effects in the interior.

Similarly to the TAFLA and RONDO series, OKO is made of stainless steel polished to high gloss. FiDU technology used to form it is based on free deformation caused by high internal pressure. This process gives it great durability combined with a subtle structure.

Despite its contemporary vibe OKO is just like the mirrors from the past – it is made of metal. FiDU technology brings it to another level and reveals the true face of steel.
