Crystals Series

Crystals is a series of objects combining sharp and soft edges and empowers the effect of light reflecting at different angles. Polished surfaces curve the light, creating a stunning game of reflections and shadows and act as a kaleidoscope that curves reality on the internal parts of the installation.

They are dynamic forms, extremely plastic in use. They can play a purely utilitarian role or become sculptural components. Combined into a pair they are a tabletop supporting structure as in the Crystals Table; on a larger scale, they resemble independent sculptures; arranged vertically they become an architectural obelisk; and located near the light source they turn into a glistening kaleidoscope.
On their surface, polished like a diamond’s table, the light refracts and generates unexpected colour impressions. These metallic gemstones are just like mirrors reflecting both technological sophistication and multidimensionality of design originating from the Zieta Prozessdesign studio.
