In the very distant parts of our Universe galaxies are being born. This piece was inspired by the 'Cats Eye Nebula' photographed by the Hubble Telescope. The Cats Eye Nebula is 3300 light years from earth. Faceted glass beads on laser cut acrylic arms mounted on a mirror polished aluminum tube surrounding a cluster of red satin acrylic elements.
