Material and production of Xbrick®: Regional and sustainable
Xbrick® is made of single-grade expanded polypropylene (EPP). This material was deliberately chosen for its functional and ecological properties, as it is very light, at the same time extremely stable and durable, and 100% recyclable. Xbrick® is manufactured entirely in Germany, in collaboration with the Remstal Werkstätten of Diakonie Stetten e. V.
We take advantage of the material properties of Xbrick®: The restoring force of the EPP and the accessories made of wood, such as ash, beech and laminated wood, make it possible to connect the products to each other quite intuitively and without tools via plugging and clamping. Modular, temporary and versatile uses.
