A Kanuri proverb states: “Memory reaches further than the eye”. Bahari means expanse in Swahili. The vastness of the steppe, translated into modern carpet art.

Low-pile carpet made from 60% Tibetan highland wool, 30% nettle fibers and 10% silk.
