Keypiece Communication Desk

Keypiece supports contemporary leadership. Whether concentrated working or intense discussions in a group – the Communication Desk promotes the working methods of the modern world. Working, consulting, meeting, video conferencing – the design meets the demands. Close and confidential side by side, in discussion when opposite each other - the conical shape of the desk top makes it possible to balance proximity and distance. The turntable on top closes the cable tank and makes it possible to turn the presentation screen. There is plenty of space for PC equipment and the tools of our individual daily routines in the containers - choose from the two different versions.

Table top and edge versions
There are two types of edge available.
Advanced:
MDF tabletop with a bevelled edge. Tabletop thickness: 28 mm chamfered to 10 mm.
Chamfered edge painted black.
Surfaces:
Available in veneer, fine textured paint, HPL laminate, Fenix® and linoleum from every price group.

Soft:
MDF tabletop with a gently flowing edge. Tabletop thickness: 28 mm. Chamfered edge, painted, with integrated edge protection.

Surfaces: Only available with a fine textured paint finish.

Table legs and base Table base frame consisting of:
- nodes in cast Aluminium
- frame parts in extruded aluminium profile. The nodes, frame parts and plastic covering are all black and grey.
Legs:
Aluminium leg with integrated cable channel and plastic covering. Legs highly-polished or powder-coated matt bronze.
Panel leg:
The trapezoid extension tables are also available with a panel leg as an option. There is a channel integrated in the panel leg to accommodate cables.
The colour of the paint from the Walter K. paint collection must be specified when the order is placed.

Function
The extension table can be moved +/-30° around the attachment point


Containers
Versions
Two different versions of the containers are available.
Executive container:
An embrace surrounding the slide-in pedestal creates additional surfaces.
Classic container:
Traditional pedestal with top and side cover panels.


Doors and drawers Doors and drawers do not have handles and open with the touch function.
Plug management Cable routing:
All the containers have an opening measuring approximately 20 cm x 20 cm to allow access to the floor box in the bottom.
However cables can also be routed through the lower ventilation slot. There are sections cut out of the sides of every container so that cables can be run through to the adjacent Container.
Ventilation:
All the containers have a 25 mm deep opening for ventilation towards the top and towards the bottom between the rear wall and the floor. It extends over the whole width of the container.
The manufacturers' instructions regarding the ventilation of any devices installed must be taken into account.
