Concept

The Canteen Utility Chair is inspired by the classic and familiar post-war British school chair. The simple, lightweight and stackable design retains the look and feel of the original, whilst simultaneously updating and modernising the comfort, aesthetic and production methods. The seamless Steel frame combined with the U-shaped press formed seat creates a strong yet visually light chair.

The Canteen Utility Chair has been tested and passed BS EN 15373:2007 / Test Level 2 / strength, durability and safety requirements for non-domestic seating.
