Like the ancient secretaires, the Genius Loci kitchen has a secret, intimate, complicit space in the drawer. A drawer that is not only a functional space - an ingenious result enabled by the dematerialisation of the top - but becomes a strong line that runs through the materiality of the surfaces, like a mark on a canvas.
